Before we start AMA main segment, we really want to know some informations about yourself. Could you do a little introduction for us to know better about you?

Happy to! I am Angela Brasington, VP of Marketing at Starchi. I have a background in marketing and entrepreneurship and I’ve been working with @StarterXyz and @OfficialStarchi since earlier this year. Starter is the leading launchpad, incubator, and investor network in DeFi, which incubated the Starchi project.
SEGMENT 1
Q1. What is Starchi? and how your team begin the process of creating this project?

Starchi is a Tamagotchi-inspired GameFi saga for the PlayToEarn generation. Our team members had Tamagotchi growing up and we all enjoyed getting to take care of something in a fun and playful way. With the play to earn economy, compensation is added to the game, providing an opportunity to change the way people live and work. This means that people can actually enjoy playing Starchi and earn a living doing so. With this, we hope to bring real work to underserved countries who don’t have other ways to earn a living. Starchi will allow people to stay home, have a full time job, and pay their bills. Once we had the concept, we began writing the story of the Starchi World. The Starchi story starts in a dark world where humanity has lost its purpose. The Starchi, once hidden within the Earth, come out in search of new energy, since the sun no longer shines on their homes. Upon meeting human children who feed and care for them, they begin to form a bond. Now that the Starchi are happy, they emit a mysterious glow, having found new love and energy to live on. Humans all over the world begin adopting Starchi as pets and eventually create friendly battle leagues for wages, where Starchi become the heroes of the leagues. Suddenly the world begins looking a little brighter thanks to the Starchi and their caretakers for bringing positivity into the world. Finally, Hope was Reborn.
Q2. How to play Starchi? And what benefits will users/players get?

Starchi Collectors are responsible for acquiring and nurturing Starchis from infancy to adulthood. They are also responsible for preventing the extinction of Starchi-kind. Collectors earn wages via friendly battles to be amongst the top Collectors in their village. Starchi Collectors acquire Starchis by purchasing them in various stages from the local marketplace as per below.
1. Freshly-minted Starchi eggs
2. Toddler, teenager, and adult Starchis
listed for sale by their collectors
3. Neglected Starchis (those not well taken
care of) that are listed for adoption Starchi Collectors are also responsible for nurturing their Starchi, preventing them from extinction, and preparing them for battle. To prepare for battle, Collectors must do the following:
1. Wake Up
2. Eat
3. Play
4. Sleep
Each Starchi possesses unique attributes and stats indicating its current state. A Starchi can possess one or more elements with a power ratio from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest). Elements dictate attack vectors during battles.
1. Stats include: HP (Hit Points), Energy, Exercise, and Hygiene
2. Elements include: Neutral, Wood, Earth, Water, Fire, Metal, Animal, Poison, Undead, and Lightning
Any Starchi Collector can create a battle arena for a low fee and decide which Starchi from their collection will attend the battle. Winners collect the majority of the fee plus earnings in reward tokens.
1. Any eligible Starchi Collector can join
2. Winners earn 85% of the START token fee
plus the in-game rewards token
3. 10% of the remaining START tokens goes to
staking income and the last 5% is burned
Q3. Could you please tell us about $ELIXIR token! What are the token use case, distribution, and how to buy/get it?

Starchi is a dual token economy, which uses Starter’s $START token to access the game and buy Starchi as well as Starchi’s liquid luck token, $ELIXIR, our magical mix that makes the Collector wealthier for a period of time (while in possession of the elixir), is used for in-game rewards. The World of Starchi is a Play to Earn economy providing Collectors with wages based on the completion of certain objectives. The tokenomics provides for a Play to Earn allocation of 20,000,000 ELIXIR for in-game rewards.
1. Earn START arena fees & ELIXIR by winning battles
2. Earn ELIXIR in future contests & tournaments
3. Earn START & ELIXIR with staking income
4. Earn ELIXIR by topping leaderboards, such as Most Active Collector, Longest Starchi holder, and more There are many benefits to long-term holding.
Our staking program consists of several core Staking Income Pools to compensate Collectors for their hard work.
a. Stake START to earn rewards
b. Stake MATIC/START or MATIC/ELIXIR LP to earn rewards
c. Stake in one of two modes: VESTED or LIQUID
- LIQUID - rewards subject to a 2.5% burn & no vesting
- VESTED - rewards are 2x LIQUID & subject to vesting

liquid ELIXIR in-game tokens

Q4. Could you give us some information about your roadmap, your milestones, and also your future plans?

Of course! We are currently gearing up for our IDO, which will be held on @StarterXyz on 22nd November. MVP will be live after that.
We are doing a ton of marketing on our own channels and with influencers.
We have amazing support from all of our partners, who are simultaneously marketing Starchi alongside our efforts. Our Partners include @PolygonOfficial, @HalvingsCapital, @Minted_Labs, @PolygonDaily, RD Auditors, @CryptoDiffer and more. We will continue to work with our partners to reach new communities and increase awareness for Starchi. We will also have something extra special incorporated into Starchi. In an effort to create more earnings opportunities for the @OfficialStarchi community to find their financial freedom, we created a way to give Starchi players access to @StarterXyz IDOs by staking their $ELIXIR earnings.
SEGMENT 2
Q1. Starchi is a peer-to-peer (P2P) blockchain game. Most of the P2E game players only focus on income. My question is, does Starchi put more emphasis on the player experience both in and out of the game to attack?

We care about the entire EXPERIENCE of our players. It’s not just about playing to earn, we want everyone to truly enjoy their interaction with the game, with their Starchis, battling with other Starchis, collecting and nurturing them, and equipping and preparing them for battle. Additionally, being a part of the Starchi community is where a lot of the fun takes place as well. We are very adamant on keeping our community up to date with news, releases, contests, and more to make every interaction with Starchi a great one and focus on the people that are playing our game and interacting with us. As metioned above, we're giving Starchi players access to Starter IDOs by staking their $ELIXIR earnings because we want to offer them even more opportunity to learn and earn.
Q2. Starchi has a dual token economy, $START token and $ELIXIR.
So what are the functions of the two tokens in the ecosystem?
Is it necessary to possess both these tokens to play the game? And which of these will function as the primary token and in game currency?

Starter’s $START token is used to get access to the game and buy your Starchi.
Starchi’s liquid luck token, $ELIXIR, is used for in-game rewards.
You will be able to earn rewards for staking both tokens in Starchi.

Q3. The gap between traditional gamers and blockchain gamers is still wide open.
How can Starchi bridge this to attract more traditional players to try new blockchain-based games? What's your plan to expand the adoption of your project to the traditional gamers?

Yes there is still work to be done in bridging the gap. Thankfully, in the case of Starchi, the main concept of nurturing your Starchi, similar to Tamagotchi, is easy for people to grasp and understand. That, compared with a user-friendly game, clearly defined tokenomics and a fun Universe to immerse yourself in, is attractive all types of gamers.
Starchi will also fill the gap between traditional gamers and blockchain gamers by creating educational content to help non-crypto gamers understand how to participate and play. We will have tutorial videos and explainers to help all players have seamless interaction with Starchi. We’ve also done a lot of work to spread awareness in heavy gaming communities, including non-English speaking countries, where gamers are eagerly looking for their next gaming experience.
SEGMENT 3
Q1. Can you talk about from security point of view? what security measures has been adopted and how secured are your smarts contract?

We will be audited by RD Auditors once live. They have been a trusted partner of @StarterXyz as well so we are sure our tokens are safe and secure. Both @StarterXyz & @OfficialStarchi were founded by @TheBarChef - the top dev in the game.😎 He knows more than a thing or two about smart contracts and how to ensure safety across all fronts. As you can see by this new ranking, Starter once again landed at the top of the list. We pride ourselves in our work and have raised over $25M for 40 or so projects. These projects would not have succeeded if all t’s weren’t crossed and i’s dotted. That’s just the way we work!
Q2. For the gamers who want the NFTs but cant afford to buy it. Are Starchi serve a features like rent NFTs or Scholarship programs? in order to make an attraction to the player, are Starchi present a low cost entrance to fit the new player portfolios?

Starchis will not cost a lot of $START, opening up the playing field for more people to access the game. And yes, we will be offering a type of scholarship program, which will be announced officially on @StarchiAnnouncements in the near future. Don’t Miss This!
Q3. In the classic Tamagotchi gameplay, the pet will die if the player did not pet and feed it. Given that Starchi was inspired from this game, will this be also the case for Starchi? Can the pets and characters within the game die from starvation and lack of petting/caring...??

The Starchi will be deemed "neglected" and given up for adoption for another player to care for and bring back to good health and ready for battle.
Q4. Imagine that a lot of people are know more about your project! But their English is not so good! So does your project have any plans to engage this people/community?
| Angela
We do! We are working with many non-English communities as we understand the gaming market well and know there are a lot of active players that do not speak English. Many of our Partners are thoroughly connected in these regions and have done great work spreading awareness and growing our community as a result.
